How to use red light therapy for thyroid?

My thyroid levels have been a bit off recently, and I'm looking for complementary therapies. My doctor mentioned red light therapy might be beneficial. How can I use red light therapy for thyroid support, and what kind of device would be best?

Please don't rely only on red light therapy for thyroid issues. I have hypothyroid and the only thing that actually works is taking my medicine daily and getting blood tests done every three months. You should consult your doctor before starting any alternative therapy on your neck.

My sister told me to use these red lamps, but I prefer to trust my endocrinologist first. I think these new devices can be a bit risky if you don't know the correct dosage. Please check with your doctor before applying any light therapy to your throat area.

There are some small clinical trials suggesting red light might help with thyroid blood flow, but the evidence is still very limited. It is definitely not a replacement for thyroxine. It is always best to discuss these alternative tools with your doctor to avoid messing up your hormone levels.

I was looking up red light therapy because my thyroid issues make me crave sweets like crazy and mess with my metabolism! Honestly, I just try to eat mindfully and take my regular pills. Not sure if some red bulb can fix my love for jalebis, so I'll stick to my doctor's prescription.

I understand you want to try everything to feel better, but please be very careful with your thyroid gland. It is a highly sensitive organ. Don't experiment with high-intensity light devices on your neck without a specialist's supervision. Take it easy and talk to your doctor first.

These red light therapy machines online are so expensive, easily 5000 to 10000 rupees. Honestly, it is much cheaper to just get your regular TSH blood tests done at a local lab for 300 rupees. I'd rather spend money on actual doctor consultations and accurate tests than on hyped-up gadgets.

Beta, in our days we used simple things like neck exercises and warm haldi milk, but these modern light machines sound a bit complicated. Always proceed with care when dealing with the neck area. Please ask a proper doctor in a big hospital before buying any expensive machines.

I have PCOS which often goes hand in hand with thyroid issues, so I know how exhausting the hormonal struggle is. I looked into red light therapy but got scared of doing it wrong at home. I decided to stick to my regular endocrinologist visits and clean eating instead of taking any chances.

Hey, don't stress too much about all these high-tech trends. If you really want to try red light, just make sure you get a safe, certified device and keep it a few inches from your neck for just 5-10 minutes. But really, don't skip your main thyroid meds for this, okay?

I totally understand how stressful it is when your thyroid levels are all over the place, it used to give me so much anxiety. When I read about red light therapy, I almost bought a device out of panic. But please take a deep breath; getting a doctor's guidance is much safer than self-treating.
