How to use olive oil for fatty liver?

My doctor told me my liver is fatty, and someone mentioned that olive oil might be beneficial. I'm trying to improve my health, so I want to know how I can effectively use olive oil in my diet for a fatty liver. Is there a specific type or amount?

You can start by replacing your refined cooking oil with extra virgin olive oil for daily cooking. Also, having one teaspoon of olive oil with a little lemon juice on your salad is very good for liver health. Take care, and hope you feel better soon.

I had Grade 2 fatty liver and tried many things before switching to olive oil. I started using extra virgin olive oil as a raw dressing on my salads or boiled vegetables instead of heating it too much. It contains healthy fats that help reduce liver fat, but you must also completely stop eating fried sweets and refined flour.

At this age, our liver bears the brunt of all our youthful food crimes! Olive oil is good, but don't start drinking it like medicine. Just use a small spoon of it to cook your daily subji instead of heavy ghee or dalda. And yes, a little less sitting on the sofa also helps the liver!

Replace your regular vegetable oils with 1-2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil daily in salads or light cooking to help reduce liver fat.

I was diagnosed with fatty liver last year and my doctor told me to improve my diet. I started using olive oil for all my light cooking and sautéing, and it suited my stomach well. Along with this, I completely cut down on sugar and alcohol, and my liver enzymes came back to normal in six months.

My teenage son was diagnosed with mild fatty liver due to eating too much fast food. I started preparing his meals using olive oil and made sure he had plenty of fresh salads dressed with a squeeze of lemon and olive oil. It is a wonderful way to help the liver, but please ensure they also get some daily outdoor play.
