How to use hemp seed oil for pain?

My physiotherapist mentioned hemp seed oil might help with my chronic back pain. I'm looking for advice on how to use it safely and effectively. Should I apply it topically or ingest it? What's the recommended way?

Beta, hemp seed oil (bhang ke beej ka tel) is very warm in nature and has been used in some regions for local application. You can rub a few warm drops on your aching joints very gently. But remember, if the pain is severe, you must consult an ayurvedic practitioner or a modern doctor.

Hemp seed oil is generally safe for topical application, but you must do a patch test first to rule out any skin allergies. Also, make sure you don't have a serious fracture or ligament tear causing the pain. Please get it diagnosed by a medical professional for your safety.

I recently had a bad wrist sprain from typing all day and tried massaging hemp seed oil on it. It provided a nice, lubricating feel for massage, but did not reduce the actual inflammation. I had to see an orthopedic doctor who gave me a proper crepe bandage and gel.

Hemp seed oil has a very nutty flavor, so I'd rather use it as a salad dressing than rub it on my body! If you are using it for pain, just massage a small amount on the skin. But honestly, a good meal and a proper consult with a physiotherapist is much better.

I can only share my own experience of using hemp seed oil for my lower back ache. I massaged it into the skin before sleeping, and it felt warm and soothing, though it didn't cure the underlying strain. I am not a medical expert, so please check with a doctor for serious issues.

Hemp seed oil is actually great for skin, but for deep muscle pain, it doesn't do much, yaar. I tried using it after my heavy workouts, but a basic hot water bag and proper rest worked way better. Don't spend too much money thinking it's a magic cure.
