How to treat tendon pain?

I've been feeling a lot of pain in my elbow, especially when I lift things or twist my arm. My physiotherapist mentioned it might be tendon pain, and I'm wondering what home remedies or exercises can help ease it.

I totally panicked when I got Achilles tendon pain last year, thinking I tore something permanently and would never walk normally again. But my physiotherapist reassured me that tendons just take a lot of time to heal because of low blood flow. Rest, ice, and gradual stretching got me back to normal, so don't stress!

Tendon pain requires extreme patience and gentle care, my child. In my experience, rushing into strenuous movements will only aggravate the pain. Simple micro-stretches and practicing deep pranayama can help relax the body while the tendon heals. Please consult a doctor before starting any exercises.

My elbow tendon has been hurting for over two weeks now and it feels like a dull ache that won't go away. Does anyone else feel like the pain gets worse in the mornings or when picking up a simple water bottle? I am a bit worried and thinking of booking a doctor's appointment tomorrow.

I literally just recovered from shoulder tendonitis after three months of rehab. The key is the RICE method (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) in the first few days, followed by specific strengthening exercises. Don't try to push through the pain, let a physiotherapist guide you.

I got wrist tendonitis from typing all day on my laptop and it was so painful! I started using an ergonomic mouse, wore a splint for support, and applied ice packs twice a day. Taking short breaks every hour really helped me, you should try resting the joint as much as possible.

My fitness app showed my recovery scores were very low when I was dealing with patellar tendonitis. I tracked my daily activity and made sure to avoid high-impact jumping during that phase. Using proper foam rolling on surrounding muscles and seeing a sports physiotherapist helped speed up my recovery.

I tried applying warm oils and local herbal pastes for my heel tendon pain, but they only gave temporary relief. Real healing started when I rested the foot and wore properly cushioned footwear. Please don't waste time on home remedies if the pain is severe; consult an orthopedist.

Since I have thyroid issues, my joint and tendon pains tend to flare up quite easily if my hormone levels are off. I highly recommend getting your thyroid and vitamin D levels checked regularly alongside your orthopedic treatment. Keeping a close check with your doctor makes a big difference.
