How to treat sharp back pain?

Lately, I've been getting these sudden, sharp pains in my lower back, especially when I bend or lift something. It's quite debilitating. How can I treat this sharp back pain and prevent it from happening?

Whenever I get a sharp back pain, I immediately start googling spinal issues and freak myself out completely. Honestly, please don't do that, but definitely take it seriously if the pain is sudden and sharp. It is always safer to consult an orthopedist to make sure it is not a disc slip or something serious.

This back pain is so annoying, I can't even sit comfortably at my favorite paratha joint for more than ten minutes. I tried applying pain gel but honestly, sitting on a hard chair with a pillow support is the only way I can manage to eat in peace. Go see a doc so you can enjoy your outings again!

I suggest visiting a proper multi-specialty hospital where they can do an X-ray or MRI if needed. When you meet the doctor, ask them clearly about what movements you must avoid and if physiotherapy is required. Don't try self-treatment or random massages for sharp pain as it can make things worse.

Aap bilkul chinta mat kariye, but thoda aaram kariye aur bhaari saaman mat uthaiye. Hamare yahan toh log garm paani ki thaili se sek karte hain, par dard badh jaye toh turant doctor babu ko dikhana chahiye. Apne sharir ka dhyan rakhiyega, sab thik ho jayega.

I was just reading up on this because my desk job is giving me bad back issues lately. Apparently, sudden sharp pain can sometimes be a muscle spasm or nerve pinch. Has anyone tried those ergonomic lumbar cushions, and do they actually help with posture, or is a doctor's visit the only real solution?
