How to treat nummular eczema?

I've had these coin-shaped, itchy patches on my arms and legs for a while now, and my dermatologist said it's nummular eczema. The creams sometimes help, but it keeps coming back. What are the effective ways to treat nummular eczema for long-term relief?

Those coin-shaped itchy spots of nummular eczema are honestly so frustrating and embarrassing to deal with. It used to make me feel so self-conscious about showing my arms or legs. Just know that it's a very real struggle, and you're not alone in feeling this way.

Hey, don't worry too much about the spots. Nummular eczema can look scary, but it responds very well once you start the right treatment. Keep your skin hydrated, avoid scratching, and let's get you to a dermatologist soon.

Keep your mind calm and positive, beta, as stress can often make skin conditions worse. Take gentle care of your body, keep your skin clean and moisturized, and seek a good doctor's guidance.

My grandmother advised applying coconut oil, which is very soothing for dry skin indeed. However, for active flare-ups of nummular eczema, a proper medical diagnosis and prescribed topical creams from a doctor are essential.

Haan yaar, isme khujli bahut zyada hoti hai na. Thoda cotton ke loose kapde pehno taaki skin ko irritation na ho. Aur please, apne daktar se ek baar check karwa lo proper treatment ke liye.

Please don't wait to see a dermatologist for this. I ignored my nummular spots thinking they were just normal dry patches, and they ended up getting a painful secondary bacterial infection. Get a professional opinion before it worsens.

I get these round eczema patches in winter. What really helps me is taking short, lukewarm showers and immediately sealing the moisture with a thick, ointment-based cream. Avoid hot water as it strips your skin completely.
