How to treat nail psoriasis?

I've been dealing with psoriasis for many years, but lately, it's spread to my nails, making them discolored and brittle. It's quite painful and embarrassing. What options are there to treat nail psoriasis effectively?

I was just reading about how nail psoriasis can cause pitting and discoloration of the nails. It is often linked with skin psoriasis, and apparently keeping the nails trimmed short is very important to prevent lifting. It's a tricky condition to manage.

I struggled with crumbling nails for a year due to psoriasis. Topical steroid creams prescribed by my dermatologist finally cleared it up, but it took almost six months of daily application because nails grow so slowly. Please be patient and stick to your doctor's plan.

Every time I see a change in my nails, I worry it is a signs of some deep autoimmune issue. The anxiety of seeing your nails look different is really stressful. Please see a good dermatologist quickly so they can guide you and ease your worries.

My dermatologist explained that nail psoriasis is an inflammatory condition, not a fungal infection, so normal antifungal creams won't work. Treatment usually involves topical corticosteroid ointments, calcipotriol, or sometimes systemic medications if it is severe. Always get an official prescription.

Nail psoriasis cannot be treated with home remedies or beauty salon manicures. You need targeted medical treatment from a dermatologist, which might include topical applications or even light therapy. Get a professional consultation done immediately.

Bhai, nails ko hamesha saaf aur sookha rakho aur koi bhi tez chemical ya detergent bina gloves ke mat chuna. Doctor ko dikhakar koi acchi marham lagao, dheere dheere thik ho jayega, chinta mat karo.

My sleep is a mess and my immune system is probably crying, which makes my nail health worse. Honestly, don't try to scrape or clean under the nails too aggressively trying to 'fix' them, it only makes the nail bed separate more.
