How to treat menopause back pain?

Since menopause, I've been getting really bad back pain, especially in the mornings. It feels different from my usual aches. Is there a specific way to treat menopause back pain, or is it just something I have to live with?

During menopause, our bones naturally get a bit weaker and cause back aches. Taking warm milk with a little turmeric at night can be very comforting for the body.

I tried everything from hot herbal poultices to daily oil massages for my menopause back pain. While those gave me temporary relief, the real change happened when I started taking calcium and vitamin D supplements. Do consult your doctor for a bone density check.

Menopause causes estrogen levels to drop, which directly affects our spine strength. I started daily strength training and core exercises, which completely solved my back pain. Don't just rest; active movement is key to keeping your bones strong now.

I used to think my back pain was just from standing in the kitchen for too long making delicious meals! But menopause actually affects bone density. Eating calcium-rich foods like ragi, paneer, and sesame seeds helped me manage the ache better.

It is very easy to blame menopause for back pain, but you must rule out osteoporosis. Please visit a gynecologist or orthopedist and get a DEXA scan done. It is always better to be safe and start the right medical therapy early.
