How to treat liver cysts?

During a routine check-up, they found some cysts on my liver. The doctor said they're usually harmless, but I'm still concerned. What are the common ways to treat liver cysts, or should I just monitor them?

Please don't trust any home remedies or herbal powders claiming to dissolve liver cysts. Most simple cysts are totally harmless and don't need treatment, but only a gastroenterologist should confirm this after seeing your ultrasound.

Keep a peaceful heart and don't take stress, as the liver reacts to our emotions. Eat clean, freshly cooked home meals and let the doctor monitor it yearly.

I also have a small liver cyst and my doctor said it requires absolutely no treatment unless it grows big. Don't worry.

My hepatologist explained that simple liver cysts are congenital and benign. Treatment like aspiration or surgery is only indicated if they cause persistent abdominal pain or block the bile ducts.

I agree with others. Just getting a regular yearly ultrasound to monitor the size is the standard medical approach.
