How to treat kidney stones while breastfeeding?

I'm a new mom and recently found out I have kidney stones. My doctor said it's small but I'm worried about what I can take since I'm still breastfeeding my baby. Are there any safe options or home remedies that won't harm my little one?

Please don't take stress, as it can affect your milk supply. Just focus on drinking plenty of pure water and coconut water to naturally flush the system.

Haan, ye time bada sensitive hota hai. Bina doctor se pooche koi bhi painkiller mat khana na, direct baby pe effect ho sakta hai.

I am also breastfeeding and just found out I have a small stone. I am so scared to take any painkillers, does anyone know if normal spasm tablets are safe for the baby?

Please don't delay seeing your gynecologist and a urologist. I ignored my backache thinking it was post-pregnancy strain, and it ended up causing a severe kidney infection.

Keeping active with light walks can help move the stone naturally. Just make sure your hydration is on point since breastfeeding already depletes your body's water.

There are specific lactation-safe painkillers and spasms medicines available. Directly consult your OB-GYN instead of trying unverified home remedies while lactating.

Gentle stretching and walking can assist stone passage, but don't push yourself. Ensure you're replacing lost fluids from both breastfeeding and extra sweating.
