How to treat hip arthritis?

My mother has been complaining about hip pain for a while, and the doctor said it's probably hip arthritis. She finds it difficult to walk now. What are the common treatment options available for hip arthritis to help manage the pain and improve mobility?

My orthopedist explained that hip arthritis is progressive, so early intervention is key. He put me on specific physiotherapy to strengthen the surrounding muscles and prescribed low-impact exercises like swimming. He also advised weight management to reduce pressure on the hip joint.

For mild hip stiffness, gently massaging with warm sesame oil and doing light stretches helps a lot. But if the pain is severe and you cannot walk, please see an orthopedic doctor. Natural tips only work for basic relief, not severe joint wear.

Haan na, hip pain makes even sitting so difficult. I am also facing this since last year, walking has become tough. You should consult a good doctor and start basic exercises, otherwise joint becomes very stiff.

Keep your mind positive, as physical pain can often wear down our mental strength. Eat simple, fresh food, practice gentle joint movements daily, and trust the medical treatment you are receiving. Take very good care of yourself.

With my busy corporate desk job, hip pain was getting unbearable. I started taking 30-minute breaks to walk and did physiotherapy twice a week after work. If you are busy, find an online physio and do the basic exercises daily at home.

My hip joints now make more noise than my old scooter, honestly! But jokes apart, don't ignore it. A good physiotherapist and some lifestyle changes will keep you rolling without needing major interventions.
