How to treat high fever naturally?

I often prefer natural remedies when possible. If I or my family gets a high fever, are there any effective natural ways to bring it down and provide comfort without always resorting to medication?

While staying hydrated with fluids and resting in a cool room helps, high fever shouldn't be managed only at home. It is best to consult a doctor to rule out things like dengue or typhoid. Self-treating high fever can sometimes delay necessary medical care.

I just got okay from a terrible fever last week. Honestly, you cannot treat high fever fully naturally if it's infection, you need proper medicine. But drinking plenty of warm water, taking coconut water, and putting damp cloth on forehead helped me survive the weakness.

When I had a bad episode, my general physician explained that fever is just the immune system fighting the bug, but high fever can dehydrate you quickly. He advised me to track temperature every 4 hours and take prescribed medicine while using sponge baths to safely lower the external body heat.

Whenever anyone in my family gets high fever, we directly visit the hospital instead of trying home remedies. Please ask your doctor clearly about the dosage and what is causing the spike. It is safer to trust diagnostic tests than trying natural cures for high temperature.

When fever hits high, your body's metabolic rate is working overtime, so stop all workouts completely and rest. Focus on clean nutrition like light broth, ORS to keep electrolytes up, and let the doctor handle the rest. Don't try to sweat it out with exercise.

I also tried doing only natural things like tulsi tea once when I had fever, but it got worse. A practical mix of proper rest, lots of warm water, and doctor-prescribed medicine is what actually works.

Actually high fever needs proper pill or paracetamol, yaar. Don't sit at home hoping it will go away with just kadha. Drink lime water and rest, but check with a doc if it touches 102.

Please get blood tests done if the fever has been high for more than 48 hours. It could be some infection that needs antibiotics, which natural remedies cannot cure. Do not delay seeing a doctor for safety.

Hey, don't stress too much, just keep taking cold water compresses on your forehead. Drink light dal khichdi water and take plenty of sleep. But if the body is too warm, please take a basic crocin or check with a doc, ok?
