How to treat gas pain in chest?

Sometimes I get this really sharp gas pain in my chest, and it feels a bit scary like something else. It usually happens after a heavy meal. Is there anything quick I can do at home to get relief when this happens?

I have high BP, so whenever I get any chest discomfort, I never assume it is just gas. Please get a proper health checkup done first to rule out any heart issues. If it is genuinely just gas, avoiding oily food and walking after meals helps a lot.

I completely understand how terrifying chest pain can be, it literally makes your heart race with anxiety. Whenever I feel this, I drink some warm water and sit upright, but if the pain is severe or spreads, please go to the nearest hospital right away to be safe.

If you are having severe chest pain, please go to an emergency room immediately instead of treating it as gas.

Chest pain is nothing to experiment with at home. I always visit a proper clinic or hospital to get a quick ECG done just to be sure. Ask your doctor clearly instead of trying random home remedies.

Please sit quietly and try sipping some warm water to see if it relaxes your stomach. If the pain doesn't subside in a few minutes, or if you feel heavy, please don't wait and see a doctor.

I once ignored what I thought was 'acidity' and gas pain in my chest, and it turned out to be a minor cardiac event. Please do not make the same mistake I did. Go to a hospital immediately and get yourself checked.
