How to treat foot tendon pain?

After long walks or standing for extended periods, I often get a sharp pain in the arch of my foot, which feels like a tendon issue. It's becoming quite bothersome. What can I do to treat foot tendon pain?

I know how terrifying it is when you suddenly can't walk properly and start fearing the worst. It made me so anxious last year when my heel started hurting. Just take a deep breath, resting it and applying ice really helps calm it down.

Yaar, foot pain is the worst, actually. I had this last month and just resting my foot on a cold water bottle and rolling it back and forth gave me instant relief. Try to avoid wearing flat footwear for a few days.

My foot decided it is seventy years old today and started protesting. I guess the only 'treatment' is sitting on the sofa and getting my family to bring me tea. On a serious note, ice packs are your best friends right now.

When I had persistent foot tendon pain, I visited a specialist at our local hospital. Please do not try random exercises online; ask your orthopedist clearly to get an X-ray done if needed.

It is incredibly frustrating when simple daily tasks like walking to the kitchen become a struggle. I felt so helpless and down when I had tendonitis. Just give yourself time to heal, it slowly gets better.

If you have tendon pain, stop running immediately and use the RICE method: Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. Get yourself some proper orthopedic insoles for your shoes, it makes a massive difference.

Please be very careful and see a doctor. I ignored my mild tendon pain and kept walking on it, which ended up causing a partial tear that took six months of physiotherapy to heal.

Applying ice for 15 minutes and keeping the foot elevated works wonders for tendon inflammation.
