How to treat facial eczema?

I get these red, itchy, and sometimes weeping patches on my face, especially when the weather changes, and it's quite noticeable. The dermatologist said it's facial eczema. What's the best way to manage and treat this condition?

Haan, face eczema can be really painful na! Try to avoid washing your face with very hot water, and skip the soap for a few days. Just use a very basic gentle cleanser so that the skin doesn't get dry and irritated.

I totally get it, having itchy patches on the face makes you feel so uncomfortable and self-conscious. Applying a cold compress can help reduce the immediate burning sensation. Please don't scrub your face, just let it rest.

Humare yahan toh skin dry ho toh thoda sa pure ghee ya naryal tel lagate hain. Face par bilkul halke hath se lagayein aur dhoop se bachein. Bhagwan kare aapka chehra jaldi theek ho jaye.

I was actually reading up on this because my cousin has it, and it seems triggers can be anything from certain food items to soap. Keeping a track of what you eat might help you figure out what is causing the flare-ups.

Sweating during hard workouts can sometimes make eczema itching much worse. If your doctor allows, you can switch to light indoor walking or gentle yoga in a cool room to keep active without sweating too much.

Please be very careful with what you apply on your face. I tried some random home pastes on my eczema and ended up with a severe bacterial infection that required heavy antibiotics. It is always safer to consult a dermatologist first.

Don't let this worry you, our skin heals beautifully when we give it time and positive energy. Drink lots of plain water, eat simple home-cooked food, and keep your thoughts peaceful. Take care of yourself.
