Please be extremely careful, the skin around the eyes is so thin and fragile! I would be so worried about using any random creams there because it could get into the eyes. Make sure to consult a doctor before applying anything.

When my eyelids flared up with red, itchy patches, my doctor advised me to stop using all eye makeup and face scrubs immediately. I only used a very gentle, basic moisturizer they recommended, and it cleared up in a week.

Do not put any strong herbal pastes or homemade remedies near your eyes as they can cause severe burning. Keep the face clean with simple lukewarm water and protect your eyes from direct dust and wind.

Never use standard steroid creams near your eyes as they can cause serious long-term damage like glaucoma. Go to a dermatologist who will likely prescribe a safe, non-steroidal immunomodulator cream specifically for eye area use.

Sometimes diabetic patients are more prone to dry skin and infections around the eyes. Make sure you monitor your blood glucose levels regularly while treating the skin condition with your doctor's guidance.

Keep your eye area clean by washing with plain, cool water and avoid any scented soaps. Applying a tiny bit of pure, simple Vaseline petroleum jelly can help soothe the dry, flaky eyelids safely.

It feels so embarrassing when your eyes look red and swollen, and you feel like everyone is staring at you. Just hang in there, it is a very common skin issue and it will heal once you find the right gentle treatment.

I went to a specialist eye clinic when I had dry, red patches on my eyelids. Ask your doctor clearly about what face wash is safe and whether your makeup or contact lens solution could be triggering the allergy.

Haan, dealing with itchy eyes is the worst, na. Try applying a clean, cool compress over your closed eyes to reduce the burning sensation. But strictly don't rub them, otherwise it will swell up more.
