How to treat extreme eczema?

I've been dealing with eczema since childhood, but recently it's gotten really extreme, with patches on my arms and legs that are super itchy and red. The creams I got from the doctor don't seem to be working anymore. Is there anything else that can help with this severe eczema?

For very dry and cracked skin, applying virgin coconut oil after a bath can keep it soft, but you must be careful not to scrub the skin. Avoid using any hard chemicals or laundry detergents with strong scents.

When the body is in deep discomfort, try to calm your mind with simple meditation and peace. Taking care of your skin gently while staying positive can help ease the painful flare-ups.

Extreme eczema means you are basically scratching your skin off in your sleep. I literally have to sleep with soft cotton gloves on just to protect my arms from my own nails. Get a dermatologist to help you, seriously.

I noticed that high dairy intake and fried foods really triggered my skin irritation. Shifting to a clean, vegetable-rich diet helped calm the severe skin inflammation from the inside out.

Extreme eczema cannot be managed with simple home remedies; you need medical intervention. See a dermatologist immediately for wet wrap therapy, barrier repair creams, or prescription non-steroidal ointments.
