I am not an expert, but when I had joint issues related to inflammation, resting the arm completely was the only thing that helped. Try applying an ice pack for 10 minutes to reduce any inner swelling.

In my youth playing cricket, we called this throwing arm stiffness. Don't worry, it usually goes away with proper rest and a warm oil massage once the initial sharp pain stops. Just don't rush back into playing too soon.

Make sure you aren't ignoring persistent pain, as slow healing can sometimes happen if your blood sugar levels are high. Focus on a good anti-inflammatory diet and consult a sports physio for targeted exercise.

Please make sure it's not a ligament tear, as ignoring throwing pain can sometimes lead to chronic issues. If you feel any clicking or popping sounds in the elbow, I highly recommend getting an MRI done to be absolutely sure.

My brother had this exact pain from playing badminton! He used an elbow support sleeve during his games and did simple wrist extension stretches every morning. It helped him recover without stopping his sports completely.

I know how stressful it is when your body stops you from doing what you love, and the fear of a long-term injury is real. Take a deep breath, give your arm a break for a few days, and let a doctor examine your throwing technique.
