How to treat eczema on scrotum?

For the past few months, I've had persistent itching and redness on my scrotum, which is really uncomfortable. I think it could be eczema. What's the best approach to treat eczema on the scrotum?

I have realized that body heat and sweat make these skin irritations much worse, same way stress spikes my BP. Focus on keeping the groin area dry and wear very loose clothing. Definitely schedule a doctor visit to get it diagnosed properly.

Haan na, it is so uncomfortable to deal with itching in that area. Try applying simple cold pressed coconut oil for temporary relief, but avoid any perfumed powders completely. Thoda sabar rakho and doctor ko dikha lo.

This is a very sensitive spot, so please do not self-medicate. Consult a dermatologist right away.

Sometimes body heat can trigger eczema-like rashes. Try drinking plenty of water, coconut water, and avoiding highly spicy or oily foods for a few days to cool down the system. It helps soothe skin irritation from the inside.

My dermatologist explained that the scrotum has very thin skin, so you should never use normal body steroid creams there. He prescribed a specific mild, non-steroidal ointment and suggested washing only with a soap-free cleanser. It worked wonders.

It is so annoying yaar, especially during hot weather. Actually, sweat is the biggest enemy here, so try to dry yourself completely after a bath. Don't use standard body washes down there, they just dry out the skin more.

I am also facing a similar issue recently but was too shy to ask anyone. Does wearing synthetic gym shorts make it worse? I would really appreciate any tips on what fabric is safest to wear.
