How to treat eczema on penis?

I've noticed some red, itchy, and dry patches on my penis, and I'm quite concerned. I suspect it might be eczema based on what I've read online. How does one treat eczema on the penis?

Stress can really flare up skin issues, just like it messes with my blood pressure. Make sure you are wearing loose cotton underwear and keeping the area clean. It is best to get a checkup from a dermatologist to get the right treatment.

I totally get it, this must be incredibly uncomfortable and stressful to deal with. First, stop using any scented soaps or shower gels down there as they trigger itching badly. Just wash with plain lukewarm water for a few days.

Bro, please don't scratch or use random creams there. Go see a urologist or skin specialist immediately.

Keep things simple and dry. Always wash your undergarments in mild detergent and make sure they are thoroughly dried in the sun to kill any bacteria. Avoid any strong self-treatment creams from the medical store without a prescription.

Do not apply any home remedies, oils, or OTC steroid creams to such a sensitive area based on online advice. It could easily make the irritation worse or cause a fungal infection. Only a doctor can tell if it is eczema or something else.

Actually had a similar scare last year and honestly, searching online just made me panic more. It turned out to be just mild friction rash, but the doctor gave a specific ointment that worked in 3 days. Just get it checked, man.
