How to treat eczema on neck?

I've developed an extremely itchy and red rash on my neck that looks like eczema. It's been bothering me a lot, especially at night. What are the best ways to treat eczema on the neck to get some relief?

Instead of spending thousands on multiple 'anti-eczema' face and neck washes, just switch to plain water for a few days. Buy a big, budget-friendly tub of white petroleum jelly to keep the neck area moist. It saves a lot of money and reduces skin irritation.

Applying pure coconut oil and wearing loose cotton collars really helped soothe my neck eczema.

For neck itching, we traditionally recommend applying fresh aloe vera gel from the plant to cool the skin. Make sure you don't wear thick woolen or synthetic scarves that rub against the neck. If the redness does not go down, please consult a proper doctor.

Keeping the neck area dry from sweat and applying a cold compress can give immediate relief from itching. However, if you see any dark crusting, bleeding, or if the rash spreads rapidly, please consult a dermatologist immediately.

Don't scratch your neck, it will only make the skin thick and more painful. For now, just wear loose cotton clothes with open collars so there's no friction. We can visit a skin doctor tomorrow if the itching doesn't calm down.
