How to treat eczema on arms?

I have these very itchy, red patches on my arms, and my doctor said it's eczema. It's really visible and bothersome. What are the best ways to treat eczema on arms to reduce the itching and redness?

Sweating during heavy gym sessions used to make the eczema on my inner arms itch like crazy. I started wearing loose full-sleeve cotton dry-fit shirts and made sure to shower immediately post-workout. Keeping the sweat off really helped clear it up.

Applying fresh aloe vera gel straight from the plant really helped cool down the dry patches on my elbows! Just make sure to keep the area moisturized throughout the day and wear soft cotton clothes.

Don't waste money buying multiple expensive body lotions for your arms. Just buy a large tub of plain, fragrance-free moisturizing cream from a local pharmacy. It is highly cost-effective and works much better than fancy cosmetic brands.

I had these rough, itchy patches all over my forearms last winter. My doctor told me to stop using harsh soaps and switch to a mild baby wash. Applying heavy moisturizer within 2 minutes of bathing worked perfectly for me.

My grandmother insisted on applying turmeric paste to the eczema on my arms, but it actually made the dryness worse. I consulted my dermatologist who explained that raw turmeric can be too drying. I highly recommend trusting a doctor's advice for sensitive skin.
