How to treat bladder infection during pregnancy?

My urine test came back positive for a bladder infection, and I'm pregnant right now. I'm really worried about my baby. What's the safest way to treat a bladder infection during pregnancy?

Oh dear, bladder infections during pregnancy are quite common but need to be taken seriously. Best thing is to consult your gynaecologist right away. They will likely prescribe antibiotics that are safe for pregnancy. Also, drink lots of water and cranberry juice (unsweetened) if your doc approves! Don't try to self-medicate, it's risky for you and the baby.

I totally get it, pregnancy mein har choti cheez bhi big deal lagti hai, especially infections. Please don't delay seeing your doctor. They'll run some tests and give you proper meds. For relief meanwhile, you can try warm compresses on your lower abdomen, but that's just for comfort, not a cure. Feel better soon!

Bladder infection and pregnancy? Sounds like double trouble! As a husband whose wife went through pregnancy, my only advice is DOC. Don't even think twice. Pregnancy is a whole different ball game, ghar ke nuskhe for this might not be safe. Get it checked, get meds, then maybe try some rest. Sleep? What's that, haha.

Hey, I don't have experience with this specifically during pregnancy, but any infection needs proper medical attention, especially when you're expecting. My suggestion would be to get it checked by your doctor ASAP. They will know what's safe and effective. Self-treating can be tricky, so better to be safe than sorry, always.

Oh god, I had this during my first trimester just last month! The discomfort was unbearable. My doctor immediately put me on a pregnancy-safe antibiotic course. It cleared up in a few days. Don't waste time, go to your gynaecologist; they'll know exactly what to do. Drink lots of fluids too, like nimbu paani.
