How to treat allergic asthma?

I've always had allergies, but recently it's escalated into what my doctor called 'allergic asthma'. It's making daily life difficult. What are the best ways to treat this kind of asthma?

Allergic asthma can feel very constricting, but keeping a peaceful mind helps prevent panic during mild breathing difficulties. Take care of your body and trust the healing process.

I focus a lot on cardio to keep my lungs strong, but on high pollen days, I shift my workouts indoors. Keeping your indoor air clean with a basic air purifier really makes a difference during allergy season.

Between my late-night work shifts and dust allergies, my nose is permanently blocked. I just run a humidifier in my bedroom at night so I can sleep without waking up gasping for air.

Don't stress too much, yaar! Just make sure you always carry your doctor-prescribed inhaler in your bag wherever you go, just in case you run into dusty areas.

The most practical thing is to identify what triggers your asthma—like dust, pet hair, or strong perfumes—and keep those away. Get your house deep-cleaned and wash your bedsheets in warm water regularly.

Practicing gentle pranayama like Nadi Shodhana daily has really helped improve my lung capacity over the years. Just make sure to do it in a dust-free, clean environment.
