How to treat a fever blister inside the mouth?

I keep getting these painful fever blisters, or cold sores, inside my mouth and they're really uncomfortable. It makes eating and drinking difficult. What can I do to treat them effectively at home?

If it is actually a blister inside the mouth, it might be an aphthous ulcer or a viral infection rather than a classic cold sore, which usually happens outside on the lips. Please get it examined by a doctor or dentist to get the correct diagnosis and treatment.

Ah, the classic 'accidentally bit my own cheek' or stomach heat gift! Avoid golgappas and spicy biryani for a few days unless you want a fireworks show in your mouth, and just apply a soothing gel.

Don't start applying toothpaste or baking soda to it just because some online blog told you so, it will only irritate the skin further. Stick to a simple salt water rinse and ask a local pharmacist for a safe mouth paint.

At this age, even looking at red chili gives me mouth ulcers. I just stick to cold curd and honey for relief and wait out the week until it decides to leave on its own.

My doctor told me that blisters inside the mouth often happen due to vitamin B12 deficiency or stress. He prescribed a specific gel containing choline salicylate to apply locally and suggested taking a multivitamin course.

When my immunity drops from intense training, I sometimes get these. I make sure to increase my hydration, eat clean green veggies, and take zinc supplements to speed up the recovery.
