How to test for prostate cancer at home?

My father recently had a prostate exam, and it made me wonder if there are any ways to test for prostate cancer at home? Or is it something that absolutely requires a doctor's visit?

I completely understand the anxiety that makes you want to check things at home first, I've been there. But prostate testing requires a blood test called PSA and a doctor's examination, which cannot be done at home. Take a deep breath and book a doctor's visit to ease your mind.

While eating tomatoes and maintaining a healthy diet is good for prostate health, you absolutely cannot test for cancer at home. You need to visit a laboratory for a PSA blood test and see a urologist for a proper exam.

I am also looking into this for my father and wanted to know if there is any basic check we can do first? Or is it mandatory to go to a clinic for the blood test directly? Any guidance would be really helpful.

I kept looking up symptoms online trying to self-examine at home and just made myself sick with worry. Please don't do that. Just go to a local lab for a simple PSA blood draw; it's fast, accurate, and will save you days of panic.

Haan bhai, ghar pe iska koi test nahi hota. PSA blood test to lab me hi hoga na. Don't worry, reports jaldi aa jati hain, bas ek baar achhe doctor ko dikha lo aur tension free ho jao.

Bhaiya, ghar par is bimari ka koi test nahi hota hai. Aap sankoch mat kijiye, shehar ke kisi acche doctor paas jaiye. Wo khoon ki janch likhenge, usse sab pata chal jayega aur aap swasth rahenge.
