How to test for allergic asthma?

My son has been coughing a lot and gets breathless after playing, especially in certain seasons. The doctor mentioned it could be allergic asthma. How do they usually test for allergic asthma in children?

Oh, this is a big one. Allergic asthma can be tricky. You should definitely see a pulmonologist, they usually do something called a spirometry test to check your lung function. And then for allergies, maybe skin prick tests or blood tests. Don't self-diagnose, please. It's too important.

Haan na, yeh asthma ka problem thoda dhyan se dekhna padta hai. Mere chote bhai ko bhi allergic asthma hai. Doctor ne bataya tha ki skin tests aur breathing tests hote hain. Wohi best hai to know for sure. Ghar pe kuch try mat karna, doctor hi sahi bataayenge.

My neighbour has this issue. Doc told her to get a PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) done first, that's usually the starting point. Then, if they suspect allergies, they'll suggest specific allergy panels. Best to go to a good chest specialist or an allergist. Don't waste time on home remedies for this.

Hello! For allergic asthma, the first step is usually a doctor's visit. They will listen to your symptoms, and often do a lung function test (like spirometry). To find out what allergens trigger it, they might suggest allergy testing - either skin prick tests or specific IgE blood tests. It's a proper diagnosis that helps manage it well.

You need to see a specialist, pronto. A pulmonologist will conduct lung function tests like spirometry. To identify the allergens, an allergist will do either skin prick tests or specific IgE blood tests. These are standard procedures for allergic asthma diagnosis. Get it checked out.

Hey! Don't stress too much, but definitely get it checked. My cousin had similar symptoms. The doc did some breathing test and then some skin tests to see what she's allergic to. Like dust or pollen etc. Just book an appointment with a good chest specialist, they'll guide u.

Namaste. For any respiratory issues like asthma, it is always best to consult a good doctor, specifically a pulmonologist. They typically perform lung function tests. My uncle also had such problems, and the doctor did specific allergy tests to find the triggers. Trust the medical professionals, they know best.

Please, please do not ignore this. I had some breathing issues years ago and kept thinking it was just a cough, turns out it was allergic bronchitis getting worse. Go to a doctor and get proper tests done. They do lung tests and allergy tests. Don't delay it like I did.
