How to tell if your liver is working properly?

I'm generally quite healthy, but sometimes I wonder if everything inside is working correctly. Are there any simple ways or signs I can look for to know if my liver is functioning properly?

When your liver is happy and healthy, you usually feel fantastic! ✨ Good energy levels, clear skin, bright eyes, and smooth digestion are all great signs. No unexplained fatigue or nausea. Basically, if you're feeling good all around, your liver is probably doing its amazing job! 😊

For liver health, if you generally feel energetic, don't have constant fatigue, no yellowish skin/eyes, and your digestion is fine, it's usually working well. For a more definitive answer, a simple Liver Function Test (LFT) is available at any pathology lab. It's a quick blood test and not very expensive.

Honestly, if your liver is working properly, you can probably enjoy your biryani and jalebis without feeling like you need a nap afterwards! You'll have good energy, no weird yellow skin, and your digestion will be smooth. If you feel perpetually sluggish or have strange cravings, maybe it needs a check!

This is interesting. So, if I don't feel tired all the time and my skin isn't yellow, that means my liver is okay? Is there anything else to look out for, like, with urine or something?

It's simple: if you feel good, have consistent energy, your skin is clear, and you don't have any persistent digestive issues or yellowing, your liver is likely fine. For absolute confirmation, get an annual LFT. It's a routine check.

I always thought you'd know if your liver wasn't good, but knowing if it's 'properly' working sounds tricky. So it's basically just a general feeling of being well? Like no specific liver-related sensations?
