How to tell if you have kidney stones?

My uncle had kidney stones and he was in a lot of pain. I've been having some discomfort in my side and back lately, and I'm a bit worried. How can you tell if you have kidney stones?

When I had an unbearable pain in my lower back that moved to my groin, I immediately went to our city's main hospital. The doctor did an ultrasound and found a 6mm stone in my ureter. Please don't guess or self-medicate; go to a proper hospital and get a scan done to see the stone size clearly.

Haan na, kidney stone pain is absolutely terrible, I can't even tell you! If you have sharp, sudden pain in your back or side that comes and goes, and you feel like vomiting, then it is likely a stone, ho na. Just go to a clinic and get an ultrasound done quickly so you can get relief.

Hey, don't stress too much! If the pain is mild, sometimes just drinking lots of water can help flush out small stones. But if it starts hurting really badly or you see blood in your urine, just go to a doctor immediately. They will give you medicine to dissolve it or manage the pain.

I was looking this up because my dad had a sudden attack of sharp pain in his lower abdomen last week. It turns out that kidney stones cause severe, wave-like pain, painful urination, and sometimes pink or cloudy pee. An ultrasound or a CT scan is the standard way doctors confirm it.

If you are experiencing severe, unbearable flank pain accompanied by fever, chills, or inability to pass urine, do not wait at home. These symptoms indicate a potential urinary tract blockage or infection, which is a medical emergency. Please seek immediate medical care at a hospital.
