How to tell if you have fatty liver?

My neighbour mentioned she has fatty liver, and some of her symptoms like tiredness sound familiar to me. I'm a bit overweight, so I'm concerned. What are the signs of fatty liver?

I just reversed my Grade 2 fatty liver last month, and honestly, I had zero symptoms in the beginning. I only found out during an annual executive health checkup through an ultrasound. If you have a sedentary job and eat out often, don't wait for pain—just get an ultrasound and LFT blood test done.

I totally lost my sleep when my routine scan showed Grade 1 fatty liver, thinking it was some permanent damage. But my doctor smiled and said it is incredibly common and fully reversible with basic lifestyle changes. Just focus on cutting down junk food and walking daily; you will be absolutely fine!

With 12-hour desk jobs, most of us probably have some level of fatty liver without even knowing it. Since there are rarely any obvious symptoms other than mild fatigue or slight heaviness on the right side, waiting for signs is a waste of time. Just book a quick home-sample blood test for Liver Function (LFT) this weekend.

My doctor told me my liver has accumulated more fat than my savings account! Jokes aside, you won't even realize you have it because the liver is a silent partner that doesn't complain until it's very tired. Just get an ultrasound done so you can start treating your liver with some respect!

Please don't worry too much about this. Fatty liver is very common nowadays and can be easily managed if caught early. The best way to know is to visit a doctor and get a simple ultrasound done; it is a quick and painless process.
