How to tell if you have cancer in mouth?

I have this sore in my mouth that's not healing, and sometimes it bleeds a little. My friend told me to get it checked as it could be serious. What are the signs that might suggest mouth cancer?

Hey, it's good you're asking about this. For mouth cancer, look out for any persistent sores, red or white patches that don't heal, a lump or thickening in your mouth, or difficulty chewing or swallowing. If any of these symptoms last more than two weeks, please see a dentist or doctor. It's better to be safe.

Oh no, mouth cancer? That's really scary to think about. Is it always a visible sore, or can it be like, a weird sensation? Does anyone else get obsessed with checking their tongue every day after reading about this? I hope it's not too common.

If you notice any unusual sores in your mouth that don't heal within a couple of weeks, or white/red patches, lumps, or difficulty swallowing, go to a good hospital. When you see the doctor, clearly describe all your symptoms and ask what tests they recommend. Don't leave any doubt.

While I believe in natural health, for something as serious as mouth cancer, there are no home remedies. If you see persistent sores that don't heal, white or red patches, a lump, or have difficulty swallowing or moving your jaw, you must see a doctor immediately. Do not delay.

I heard about this recently and it made me worried. So, it's mostly sores that don't heal? And patches? Are these usually painful, or can they just be there without pain?

Mouth cancer symptoms need quick action. If you have any persistent sore in your mouth that doesn't heal, or strange white/red patches, or a lump, the practical thing is to immediately visit a dentist or an ENT specialist. They are best equipped to identify it and suggest the next steps.

Ugh, this is another one that makes me constantly check my mouth with a flashlight! But seriously, if you have a sore that doesn't heal, or any weird white/red patches, or a lump, it's not something to just stress about silently. Please get it checked by a dentist or doctor, don't be like me and just Google symptoms till you're more anxious!
