How to tell if you have breast cancer?

I found a small lump in my breast during self-examination, and I'm very anxious. My friend said it could be nothing, but I want to be sure. What are the signs of breast cancer I should really be concerned about?

I totally get how scary this topic can be. The main thing is to do regular self-exams and look for any new lumps, changes in breast size or shape, skin dimpling, nipple discharge, or redness. If you notice *any* of these, please see a doctor immediately. Early detection is key.

Oh god, I'm always checking for lumps. Is it just lumps, or like, changes in skin texture also? Does anyone else get super anxious checking themselves? It's so hard not to panic even before seeing a doctor.

Another health worry added to the list, eh? Well, for breast cancer, the docs always say check for new lumps, changes in skin like dimpling or redness, nipple discharge, or even a change in breast size. Basically, anything that feels or looks different. Just go get it checked, no point stressing yourself out with Dr. Google.

It's completely normal to feel anxious asking this, and it's brave that you are. The most important thing is to be aware of your own body. If you feel any new lumps, notice any changes in skin texture (like dimpling or redness), nipple discharge, or changes in breast size/shape, please see a doctor. Getting checked is the best step.

Checking for new lumps, changes in breast or nipple appearance, and any unusual discharge are important. Please consult a doctor immediately for any concerns.

From what I've learned, regular self-checks are so important. My friend found a small lump during her shower and that's how she caught it early. Also, looking for any changes in nipple appearance or skin dimpling can be crucial. I always tell everyone, if you notice ANYTHING unusual, just go to a doctor, please.
