How to tell if u have gum disease?

My gums sometimes bleed when I brush, and they look a bit red and swollen. My dentist mentioned once that I should watch out for gum disease. What are the definite signs to tell if I have gum disease that needs attention?

Hey, don't panic. If your gums are looking a bit redder than usual or if they bleed slightly when you floss, it might be early gingivitis. Just start brushing twice daily and pay a visit to your dentist to get a professional cleaning done.

Please take this seriously. I ignored my bleeding gums for two years, and it turned into pyorrhea, which damaged the bone beneath. If your teeth feel even slightly loose or if your gums are pulling away, see a dentist immediately.

With our busy schedules, we often ignore oral hygiene. A quick way to tell is if you get a bad taste in your mouth that doesn't go away after brushing, or if you see blood while spitting. It takes just 15 minutes for a dentist to diagnose it, so make the time.

While red and swollen gums are classic indicators, gum disease can often be silent with no pain at all in the early stages. Self-diagnosis online can cause unnecessary worry. A proper clinical dental exam is the only accurate way to know.

Dude, I used to see pink spit every time I brushed my teeth and thought it was normal. Turns out it was early gum swelling. I started brushing properly and using a mouthwash, and the bleeding stopped in a week.

I got so scared when my gums bled once after eating hard guava, I thought my teeth would fall out! But the doctor said it was just a minor irritation because of rough food. Don't stress, just get a routine checkup to be sure.

Check if your gums look puffy instead of nice and pink! If brushing makes them bleed, that is a clear sign. A quick dental cleanup usually fixes it up nicely, so don't worry too much!

Actually, bad breath is a huge clue, yaar. If your mouth smells weird even after using mints, it might be bacteria deep in your gums. Just get it checked by a doc, don't ignore it.

My dentist explained that healthy gums should tightly hug your teeth and look pale pink. If they are receding, leaving the roots exposed, or if you have persistent bad breath, it indicates plaque build-up under the gum line. Only a professional scaling can remove that.
