How to tell if u have a fever without thermometer?

My daughter is feeling hot and has body ache, but our thermometer isn't working today. Is there any way to check if she has a fever without a thermometer? I need to know if I should take her to the doctor.

Bhai, you just put your hand on their forehead, no? If it's very warm, and their cheeks are red, and they look tired, then it's probably fever. Sometimes they shiver also. Give them light food and rest, but if it feels very bad, then doctor is best.

I once tried to guess my fever and ended up with complications because I underestimated it. Without a thermometer, you can check for warm skin (forehead, neck, chest), flushed face, body aches, shivering, or feeling unusually tired. But please, if you suspect a fever, especially if it feels high or you have other symptoms, try to get a thermometer or see a doctor for an accurate reading. Don't take chances.

I remember ignoring feeling hot and achy once, thinking it was just fatigue, and it turned into a nasty infection. So please, if you feel unusually warm, especially on your forehead and neck, and you're also experiencing chills, body aches, or a general feeling of being unwell, it's a good indicator of fever. Don't be like me; get it checked properly or at least use a thermometer if possible.

From my time, before all these digital thermometers, we just used to feel the forehead with our hand, or the back of the neck. If it feels very hot, and the person is also shivering or looking very dull, then it is a fever, beta. Give them some warm water and rest. But if it doesn't get better, a doctor should always be consulted.

You can touch their forehead or neck. If they feel hot to you and seem unwell, it's likely a fever. Make sure they rest.
