How to tell if thyroid is off?

My sister was just diagnosed with a thyroid issue, and now I'm worried too. I've been feeling a bit off, with my weight fluctuating and sometimes I feel very hot or cold. What are some signs to look out for to know if my thyroid is not working properly?

The body speaks to us, we just need to listen. If your thyroid is off, you might feel constant fatigue, changes in weight without trying, or notice your hair and skin changing. Sometimes, mood swings also happen. Regular yoga and mindfulness can help bring balance, but always check with a doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Having high BP means I'm very aware of my body's functions. For thyroid, keep an eye on unexplained weight changes, feeling too hot or cold often, constant tiredness, or hair loss. My doctor always emphasizes getting regular thyroid function tests as these symptoms can overlap with other conditions. A healthy lifestyle helps manage things, but tests are key.

Ho na, sometimes you just feel 'off' without knowing why. But with thyroid, common signs can be like feeling super tired even after sleeping, ya phir suddenly gaining or losing weight, ho na? Aur hair fall bhi ho sakta hai. Agar aise kuch feel ho, toh doctor ko dikhana best hai. Simple blood test hota hai.

Fatigue, weight changes, and hair loss are big indicators. Also look out for mood swings or feeling excessively cold/hot.

Oh, thyroid symptoms can be so confusing and make you overthink everything! I constantly worry if every little ache or mood swing is a sign. But honestly, if you're consistently feeling exhausted, your weight is changing for no reason, or your skin and hair feel really different, don't dismiss it. Get a simple blood test (TSH, T3, T4) done, it will give you clear answers. Better to know than to stress.
