How to tell if one kidney is failing?

My friend recently had kidney stones, and it got me worried about kidney health. I often feel tired, and sometimes my urine looks a bit off. How can one tell if just one kidney might be starting to fail?

It's tough to tell without proper medical tests, as early symptoms can be vague. But look for swelling in your legs/ankles, fatigue, reduced urine output, or changes in how you pee. If you notice any of these persistently, especially swelling, get a blood test for creatinine and a urine test done ASAP. Don't wait.

Our kidneys work tirelessly, and their health is paramount. If one kidney is struggling, you might notice swelling in your feet or face, fatigue, changes in your urination frequency or color, and sometimes even unexplained back pain. While gentle yoga and pranayama can support overall well-being, for kidney health, medical consultation and tests are absolutely essential.

Oh, that's a serious question! 😟 It's not something you can easily tell yourself. Symptoms could be swelling in your feet or legs, feeling super tired, or changes in how often you pee. But for real confirmation, a doctor will need to do blood tests and maybe an ultrasound! Don't stress too much, just get it checked! ✨

Hey yaar, don't stress too much, but this is pretty serious. You might notice swelling in your ankles or feet, feeling super tired, peeing less or more often, or even muscle cramps. It's not something you can just guess. You really need to see a doctor for blood and urine tests to know for sure. Better safe than sorry, always!

Identifying kidney failure, especially in one kidney, is not something one can self-diagnose. Common symptoms include swelling in the legs or feet, decreased urine output, persistent fatigue, nausea, and shortness of breath. These symptoms can overlap with other conditions, so a definitive diagnosis requires blood tests (like creatinine levels), urine tests, and often imaging. A nephrologist's advice is paramount here.
