How to tell if im having a heart attack?

Yesterday, my neighbour collapsed suddenly and it was a heart attack. It made me think about my own health. If I ever feel something wrong, how would I know if it's actually a heart attack and not just acidity or anxiety?

This is not something you Google and self-diagnose, please. If you have severe chest pain, pressure, shortness of breath, pain in the arm or jaw, or sweating, call an ambulance or go to the emergency room IMMEDIATELY. Internet advice won't save you, only prompt medical attention will.

Does anyone else constantly worry about this? I read that women's symptoms can be different, like more fatigue or back pain. But generally, isn't it like a heavy feeling in the chest, spreading to the arm? Has anyone here experienced something similar and what did it feel like?

From what I've learned, the key is the intensity and persistence of symptoms. It's usually a severe pressure or pain in the chest, often with shortness of breath, cold sweat, or nausea. It's not always like in movies, but if you feel anything seriously off, it's better to get checked right away.

Oh god, this thought always makes me anxious! I've read that it's often a feeling of immense pressure or squeezing in the chest, not just a sharp pain. And it can spread to your arm, back, or jaw. If you feel anything like that, please don't wait, get to a hospital quickly. I hope you're okay.
