How to tell if eczema is healing?

I've been dealing with eczema on my hands for months, and it's been quite frustrating. After trying a new cream, it feels a bit better and less red, but I'm not sure if it's actually healing or just calmed down temporarily. What are the signs to look for to tell if eczema is truly healing?

When eczema starts healing, you'll notice the redness decreasing and the skin feeling less itchy. The patches will usually become flatter and less inflamed. Keep moisturizing consistently, that's key. It takes time, so be patient.

Bhai, simple hai. Agar itching kam ho rahi hai, skin soft feel ho rahi hai and lal nahi dikh rahi, toh samajh lo it's getting better. But don't stop your creams. Consistency is important.

Jab theek hone lagta hai na, toh khujli kam hoti hai, aur chamdi bhi pehle jaisi ruki ruki nahin lagti. Thoda rang bhi normal hone lagta hai. Bas usko ache se tel ya cream lagate raho, jaldi theek ho jayega.

You'll probably notice it feeling less irritated and the skin surface becoming smoother. The dryness and flakiness will also lessen. It's a slow process, so hang in there.

My grandmother always said that healthy skin is calm skin. When eczema heals, the skin will be less red, less scaly, and not as rough. The constant urge to scratch will also reduce a lot. But even when it looks better, continue doctor's prescribed routine for some time, don't stop suddenly.
