How to tell if chest pain is muscular or heart-related?

I sometimes experience chest pain, especially after a stressful day, and it makes me quite concerned. My family has a history of heart problems. What are the key indicators to tell if chest pain is muscular or if it's related to the heart?

This is always a worry, right? Going for all tests can get expensive. I usually look for if it changes with pressing or moving. If it's muscular, it changes. Heart pain is usually deeper. Still, if doubt hai, always better to get it checked out, even a basic ECG is not too costly.

My mother always said if it's muscular, it'll hurt when you touch it or move a certain way. But heart pain, it's more like a deep pressure or squeezing, and sometimes it goes to the arm or jaw. Don't take chances, though. Doctor knows best, even if family advice is good.

Oh, this confusion is so common. I've tried balms and hot water bags for what I thought was muscular pain. If it's muscular, it often feels localized and changes with movement or breathing. Heart pain is usually more crushing or heavy, and can spread. Best to get it checked if you're unsure, honestly.

As a friend, I'd say muscular chest pain usually gets worse when you push on the area or move your arms/torso. Heart-related pain, on the other hand, is often a more general discomfort, tightness or pressure, and doesn't usually respond to touch. If it feels like squeezing or heaviness, especially with sweating or dizziness, don't wait, get to a doctor.

Uff, this is the worst question to ask yourself after a heavy biryani! If it's muscular, maybe it's from overdoing it at the gym or carrying too many grocery bags. Heart pain feels much more scary, like something is pressing. Honestly, though, don't just rely on guesses, doc ko dikhao if you're worried!

Listen, I learned the hard way that you should never guess with chest pain. I once thought it was just muscle strain after lifting something heavy, but it turned out to be something serious. Always, always see a doctor if you have chest pain. It's not worth the risk.
