How to tell if back pain is muscular or kidney?

I'm experiencing discomfort in my lower back, almost on my sides, and it's making me a bit nervous. My mother-in-law suggested it could be kidney-related pain. How can one tell if back pain is due to muscles or if it's an issue with the kidneys?

Muscular back pain usually occurs in the lower back and changes when you twist or bend your body. Kidney pain is a deep, constant ache located higher up under your ribs, and it might be related to other issues like high blood pressure or diabetes. Please ensure you get regular medical checkups to monitor your kidney health.

Muscular pain is often the result of physical strain and tension we carry in our bodies, which can be eased with rest and gentle care. Kidney pain is a deeper, internal signal that requires attention. Stay positive, drink plenty of water, and consult a doctor to heal properly.

Haan na, it is so confusing when our back starts aching suddenly! Muscular pain usually gets better when we apply some ointment or take a good rest, ho na. But if the pain is very deep and you feel like vomiting, it might be the kidney, so please consult a doctor.

Ram Ram, beta. If the pain is from working in the fields or lifting heavy water pots, it is just muscle pain which will go away with a warm compress. But if the pain is deep inside and you have a fever, it could be the kidneys. Please go to the town hospital and show a doctor.

Look, if the pain gets worse when you bend or lift something, it's a muscle pull. If the pain is constant, deep, and you have burning when you pass urine, it's definitely your kidney. Don't sit around hoping it will disappear, go see a doctor.

If you sit at a desk for 9 hours, it is likely postural muscle pain, which feels tender when pressed. Kidney pain is a deep, non-stop ache that doesn't change with movement and might come with a fever. Save time and get a simple urine test and doctor's consult to get a clear answer.
