How to take off dandruff?

I've been dealing with dandruff for a while now, and it's quite embarrassing, especially when I wear dark clothes. I've tried a few things, but it keeps coming back. What are some effective ways to get rid of dandruff permanently?

Dandruff can be irritating. While I focus on managing my blood sugar, I find that a balanced diet and good hygiene, including regular hair washes, help many skin issues. For dandruff, my doctor once suggested a medicated shampoo. Sometimes, diet can affect scalp health too, so watch your sugars.

I've started noticing some flakes recently, and it's quite embarrassing. Is there a specific type of shampoo that works best for persistent dandruff, or should I try a home remedy first? I don't want to make it worse by doing something wrong.

I'm always looking up solutions for common problems like dandruff! I read that apple cider vinegar diluted with water can work as a rinse. Also, making sure you wash your hair properly and not leaving conditioner on your scalp can prevent buildup. It's all about trial and error.

Yaar, dandruff is the worst, na! I used to have it bad. Actually, a good anti-dandruff shampoo with ingredients like ketoconazole or selenium sulfide helps a lot. Use it regularly, maybe two-three times a week. Aur thoda stress kam lo, that also plays a role.

My dermatologist explained that dandruff is often caused by a yeast-like fungus called Malassezia. For mild cases, using shampoos with zinc pyrithione or selenium sulfide helps. For more stubborn cases, ketoconazole shampoos are usually prescribed. Always follow the instructions and don't over-wash or under-wash your hair.

Using a good anti-dandruff shampoo regularly really helps, and don't forget to rinse your hair thoroughly.

Dandruff can be annoying, but don't spend too much on expensive shampoos initially. Start with a basic anti-dandruff one from a trusted brand. If it doesn't work after a few weeks, then consider seeing a doctor. Sometimes, a simple solution is all that's needed, no need for fancy treatments right away.

For persistent dandruff, especially if it's itchy or red, don't rely on home remedies only. It's best to consult a dermatologist. At a good hospital like Max or Apollo, they can diagnose if it's just dandruff or something else like seborrheic dermatitis, and give you the right treatment. Don't waste time trying everything.
