How to take ivermectin for cancer?

My uncle was recently diagnosed with cancer, and someone in the family suggested Ivermectin might help alongside his regular treatment. I'm wondering how exactly it's supposed to be taken or if it's even a good idea. My family is quite worried.

Dealing with chronic health issues is so tough, but we have to be very careful with what we read online. Ivermectin is primarily an anti-parasitic drug and is not approved or proven to treat cancer in humans. Please talk to an oncologist before taking anything.

Cancer treatment is highly complex and time-sensitive. Relying on unproven internet remedies like ivermectin can delay proper medical care like chemotherapy or surgery, which is extremely risky. Please stick strictly to your oncologist's advice.

My family member was recently diagnosed and I've been desperately searching for anything that could help, but reading about ivermectin for cancer makes me so anxious. Has anyone else's doctor completely warned them against using this deworming medicine?

I looked into the research because of a relative, and while there are some basic lab-level studies, there is zero clinical evidence that ivermectin cures cancer in humans. Our family oncologist strictly warned us that taking it without supervision can cause severe liver toxicity.

I am a big believer in trying natural and home remedies for small issues, but cancer is a completely different ball game. You cannot self-treat this with medications like ivermectin. It requires proper medical hospital care and expert doctors.

I am quite new to researching health topics and my uncle was asking about this medication. Is it true that some people take it without a prescription, or is it strictly dangerous? I want to make sure I don't give him any wrong information.

I've been up till 3 AM reading health forums and honestly, some of these threads are wild. Please don't start popping deworming pills for something as serious as cancer. Go get some sleep and leave the medical prescriptions to actual doctors!
