How to take ivermectin for arthritis?

My neighbor told me that Ivermectin is being used for some conditions beyond just parasites, and mentioned it for arthritis. I'm looking for natural remedies. Is there a way to take ivermectin for arthritis, and if so, how?

I don't think ivermectin is meant for arthritis at all, man. If you want to manage joint pain, focus on low-impact exercise, mobility work, and eating a clean, anti-inflammatory diet. That will actually help your joints in the long run.

Please don't take this. Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic drug and there is no scientific proof it helps with arthritis; please consult a rheumatologist instead.

Who is spreading this online? Ivermectin is a dewormer medication, not a painkiller or arthritis treatment. Taking random prescription medicines based on internet rumors is highly dangerous and can damage your liver. Go see a qualified doctor.

I was also reading about alternative treatments for my joint pain, but seeing ivermectin mentioned made me really nervous. Has anyone actually been prescribed this by a real doctor for arthritis, or is this just another dangerous internet trend we should avoid?

In my sixty years, I have seen people try all sorts of strange remedies for joint pain, but this sounds very unsafe. Arthritis needs proper medical care, physiotherapy, and mild lifestyle changes. Stick to what your doctor prescribes and don't experiment with such strong medicines.
