How to take care of someone with a fever?

My wife has been down with a fever for a couple of days now, and she's feeling quite weak. I'm trying my best but want to know if there are specific things I should be doing to help her recover faster and feel more comfortable. Any tips for taking care of someone with a fever?

Ah, the never-ending cycle of fevers in the house! 😂 Best thing is to keep them hydrated, give light food like khichdi, and let them sleep. Don't forget the paracetamol, it's our best friend these days. And maybe a little less demanding family drama for a day or two, if possible!

Make sure they are warm but not overheated, and try to get them to drink plenty of fluids. Rest is very important for recovery.

Be careful with all the random tips online. For fever, basic care is fine, but if it's high or lasts long, a doctor visit is essential. Don't experiment with things you read on the internet when someone's health is at stake. Always verify with a medical professional.

Firstly, rest and hydration are paramount. Once the fever breaks and they start feeling a little better, if the doctor gives the green light, maybe a very light walk in the fresh air could help with recovery and mood, but strictly no exertion during fever.

My kids get fevers so often! I always keep them in light clothes, give small frequent sips of water or ORS, and use a damp cloth for sponging. Keep an eye on the temperature, and don't hesitate to call the pediatrician if it's too high or doesn't come down. Mom life, haan?
