Aw, fevers are no fun! 🤒 Make sure they get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids like water and ORS. Light, easy-to-digest food also helps. And a cool compress on the forehead can feel really nice! ✨

My mother always makes rasam and plain rice, very comforting and light for fever. And a sponge bath with lukewarm water helps bring the temperature down. But for any persistent or high fever, please go to the doctor without delay. Family advice is good, but doctor's advice is important.

If it's a diabetic person, then it's even more crucial to monitor blood sugar levels regularly, as fever can affect them. Give light, digestible food but make sure it's not too sugary. Keep them hydrated with plain water or unsweetened liquids, and always check with their doctor.

Hydration is super important even when ill. Stick to clear broths, fruit juices (diluted), and lots of water. Avoid heavy, oily foods; the body needs its energy to fight the infection, not digest a huge meal. Rest is also a form of training for recovery.

Just make sure they are comfortable and getting lots of rest. Fluids are key. Hope they feel better soon.

Been there, done that. Keep them cool, not cold. Light clothes, a fan on low. Don't force them to eat if they don't want to, but keep pushing fluids. Paracetamol for fever management is usually fine, but don't overdo it. If it doesn't break in a day or two, doc visit is a must.
