How to take care of kidney?

My father recently had some kidney issues, and it got me thinking. We often neglect these things until there's a problem. What are some good, simple ways to keep my kidneys healthy, especially as I'm getting older?

For kidneys, staying hydrated is key! I drink at least 3-4 liters of water daily. Also, cutting down on processed foods and too much salt, and regular exercise, really helps keep them working well. It's all connected to overall fitness.

My grandmother always said to drink lots of buttermilk and tender coconut water, very good for health and also for kidneys. But if you have any issues or concerns, please consult a doctor. They will advise best, no need to self-diagnose from internet.

As someone with high BP, I have to be extra careful. Regular check-ups are non-negotiable. Reducing salt intake, avoiding processed foods, and staying active is what my doctor recommended. BP control is very important for kidney health, don't ignore it.

Simple funda hai, paani piyo bhar ke aur salt kam khaao. Jyada junk food se bachho. Aur haan, periodically check-up karwa lo, especially if you have any family history. No rocket science, just basic common sense.

Beta, don't worry too much, but be mindful. In our times, we just ate simple food and drank lots of water from the well. Less stress and less maida wali cheezein, that's what kept us healthy. Just eat home-cooked food, it always helps.

Our body is a temple, we must respect it. Stay positive, hydrate yourself with pure water, and listen to what your body tells you. A calm mind and a balanced diet contribute to the well-being of all organs, including our kidneys. Just be present and mindful.
