How to take care of cavities at home?

I'm concerned about some early signs of cavities in my teeth. Are there any effective home remedies or daily habits I can adopt to care for them and prevent them from worsening?

Beti, once a cavity forms, it's best to see a doctor for filling. At home, you can only help prevent new ones or slow down small decay. We used to rub clove oil on bad teeth for temporary pain relief. And always brush with good toothpaste, two times a day. Rinse your mouth well after eating sweets. These are old ways that still help, but don't replace the dentist.

Cavities at home? Hmm, unless you're a dentist in disguise, it's tough! What I try to do is curb my sweet tooth (so hard, I know!) and rinse with water after every snack or meal. It won't fix an existing cavity, but it definitely helps keep new ones away so I can keep enjoying my favorite foods without guilt! 😅

Dealing with cavities, even small ones, can make you feel really self-conscious and frustrated. I know that feeling. While you can't magically heal a cavity at home, you can definitely stop it from getting worse. Focus on super consistent brushing, flossing, and maybe a fluoride rinse your dentist suggests. But honestly, a dentist visit is the real solution to fix it.

I totally get wanting to manage things at home, but for actual cavities, a dental professional is really needed. What you can do at home is prevent *new* cavities or stop existing ones from getting worse before you can see a dentist. This means being super diligent with brushing, flossing, and using a fluoride mouthwash. And definitely cut down on sugary drinks and sticky foods.

Hey, for cavities, understand that once the damage is done, home remedies can't magically fix them. You'll need a dentist to fill it. But to prevent further damage or new cavities, focus on solid oral hygiene. Brush twice, floss once, and use a fluoride mouthwash. And try to reduce sugary snacks. It's about protecting your teeth, not just fixing.
