How to stop vomiting when sick?

I've caught a bad flu, and with it comes this constant feeling of nausea and vomiting. It's hard to keep anything down, even water. Is there anything effective I can do to stop this vomiting when I'm sick?

When you are sick, your body's digestion slows down completely. Once the doctor gives the green light and the vomiting reduces, I find that taking a very slow, gentle walk inside the house helps with digestion. Don't strain yourself at all, but a little light movement can wake up your sluggish gut.

Whenever my kids get sick and start vomiting, I make sure they don't eat any solid food for a few hours to let the stomach rest. I slowly give them spoons of warm barley water or light dal soup. Just give them lots of love, keep them hydrated, and the stomach will settle gradually.

Our bodies have a beautiful way of healing themselves when we give them rest and positive energy. Don't worry, this sickness will pass soon. Just lie down comfortably, drink small sips of warm water, and let your body recover in peace.

I totally agree with keeping the stomach light. Sipping clear apple juice or simple rice conjee slowly always works best for me when I am sick.

Look, if you are sick and throwing up, stop self-medicating with random tips. Just book an online consultation with a proper doctor immediately. They will give you the right medication to stop the vomiting so you can actually digest your food and recover.
