How to stop vomiting after gastric bypass?

My sister had gastric bypass surgery a few months ago, and sometimes she still struggles with vomiting after eating. Is there anything specific that can help stop this after the surgery? It's quite concerning for us.

Your new pouch is basically throwin' a tantrum right now! Make sure you are not drinking liquids with your meals, as that's a classic mistake. Take tiny, baby-sized bites and eat like a royal turtle—very, very slowly.

Since you've had a major surgery, continuous vomiting can ruin your hydration levels and lead to costly emergency room visits. Keep a detailed log of what you eat to see what triggers it. Please call your surgical team to avoid unnecessary complications.

Vomiting after a gastric bypass is super tricky, yaar. Actually, it usually happens if you eat too fast or don't chew your food to a paste. Keep a gap of 30 minutes between food and water, and do call your doctor.

My child, after such a big stomach operation, your body needs gentle care. Try taking very small sips of lukewarm water boiled with a bit of ginger to soothe the tract. Always follow your surgeon's special diet plan strictly.

Oh, that sounds really stressful and scary after a surgery. Are you chewing your food completely? I would be so worried about the stitches, so please contact your bariatric surgeon immediately to make sure everything is okay.

I was reading about post-op diets and apparently, even eating a bite too much can cause vomiting after bypass surgery. It seems really important to stick to the exact liquid or puree stage your doctor advised. Definitely get in touch with them.

Don't panic, I also faced this during my first few weeks post-surgery and was terrified. I realized I was just swallowing too fast and not chewing enough. It gets much better once you adjust, but do update your doctor about it.

My relative went through this and we had to monitor her eating habits closely. We made sure she ate very small portions using a baby spoon to slow down. Please contact your surgeon as they might need to adjust your recovery plan.
