How to stop twitching in sleep?

My leg muscle keeps twitching uncontrollably when I'm about to fall asleep, and it wakes me up. It's very annoying and prevents me from getting proper rest. How can I stop this twitching in my sleep?

Try drinking a warm glass of turmeric milk before bed and avoiding screens for an hour to relax your muscles. However, if the twitching is very frequent, violent, or wakes you up gasping, please consult a doctor to rule out any underlying nerve issues.

I used to get so anxious because of my sudden sleep twitches, and the fear of it actually made it worse. What helped me was practicing simple deep breathing and accepting that it's often just stress. You are not alone in this, please don't stress too much.

Most sleep twitching is just sleep starts, often triggered by too much caffeine or late-night workouts. Cut down on the evening coffee and maintain a proper sleep schedule. If it still doesn't stop, just get a quick checkup done.

My wife complains that I kick like a football player in my sleep sometimes. Honestly, cutting back on late-night TV and doing light stretching before bed has helped quieten my legs. Give your body some rest, we aren't young anymore!

My mother always tells me to massage my feet with a little warm coconut oil before sleeping to soothe the nerves. It is very relaxing and certainly helps. But if the twitching continues daily, it is wise to consult a doctor for a proper checkup.

I sometimes experience muscle twitches when my mineral levels or sleep cycles are off. I try to drink enough water and take a gentle magnesium supplement after checking with my doctor. It's always best to ask your physician before trying new remedies.
